Where to start - a background animation!
I knocked this up in an hour on Carrara (old 3D modelling and animation program), works great as a backdrop for meetings and pages. It is two textured globes with some rotating coloured lights, go full screen!

I have been mulling about the evolution of data as a distinct entity and how it seems to be driving IT evolution.
